With alpine:
Use of uninitialized value $zone in lc at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/Date/Manip/TZ.pm line 199. Use of uninitialized value $zone in concatenation (.) or string at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/Date/Manip/TZ.pm line 1341. ERROR: [date_period] Invalid zone:
Seen the same issue with fossology on some build contexts.
