Description

The pkginfo provided in PB, is mis-using some fields.

Attached is an improved pkginfo, using a solaris pbfilter which is also attached.

I do not understand the modifications proposed:

1/ NAME seems to be: purpose of package (255 chars max, ideally less than 40) from ​http://www.bolthole.com/solaris/makeapackage2.html

So for me it really corresponds to the PBSUMMARY macro that is used also for deb/rpm packages.

2/ DESC is mentionned twice with different content ?

3/ ARCH is either all or i386 so indeed default could be one or the other, but that's not important.

4/ PKG="PBSOLPKG" and filter PBSOLPKG = $pb->{'PKPKG'} doesn't look correct to me. Should really point to PBREALPKG

So I don't really know what to do with this in fact :-( Let's discuss tomorrow ;-)
